I am not an advertiser; however, can have a Bike Rack installed in front of my store?

Velocity Media retains racks for this specific purpose. If you would like to have a bike rack installed in front of your store or organization, please contact us early in the year. This free service is limited thus it is first come, first served.

I don’t have a sign created; can Velocity Media help?

Yes! Velocity Media has partners in graphic design to ensure that your signage is professional. You may contact them directly through our “Links” page or contact us directly to facilitate this process.

How long will my ski rack signs be displayed at the ski resorts?

The ski season changes every year. Your signs are guaranteed to be displayed from when the resort opens their slopes to skiers until they have the last run of the year. There is no extra charge for a favorably long season; likewise, there will be no reduction in price should the season be shortened due to weather.

How far in advance must I submit my artwork to ensure that my signs are installed on time?

You will need to submit your artwork to us no later than 2 weeks before your installation date. This can be done directly to our selected sign production company or through us.

Will our signs be installed exactly where we specify?

Velocity Media attempts to place your sign exactly where you want it, however, under certain circumstances, this may not be possible and in such as case your sign will be placed within 50 yards of your requested location. This alteration in location could be a result of, but not limited to an interruption of pedestrian traffic flow, request of removal from the City of Ottawa, media saturation or improper mounting surface.

Can I advertise anything on your mediums?

Via the City of Ottawa bylaw restricting certain types of advertising on public property, Velocity Media reserves the right to reject your request to advertise should the sign contain elements of, but not limited to profanity, sexual content and alcohol or tobacco promotion.
